Bitcoin Wallet
A non-custodial Bitcoin wallet that runs entirely in your browser. Parahub's server never holds funds, keys, or wallet state — there is nothing to freeze, seize, or lose in a platform hack. Lightning payments arrive in seconds; regular on-chain transactions are supported too.
Getting started
- 1Generate a wallet — a 12-word recovery phrase is created on your device and never sent anywhere. The same phrase can also derive your PGP keypair.
- 2Confirm the words and set a PIN. The phrase is encrypted with your PIN and stored only in your browser.
- 3Receive and send — Lightning invoices, a permanent address for receiving, QR codes and a camera scanner. Amounts are shown in your preferred currency at live rates.
One phrase to keep safe
The 12 words are the wallet. Nobody — including Parahub — can restore them for you if they're lost. Write them down and store them offline; that is the price and the point of having no custodian.
If the wallet servers are down
This wallet runs on your device but talks to third-party network operators to sync balances and sign payments. When those operators have an outage, the wallet may show a zero or outdated balance, an empty history, or fail to send — with a warning banner explaining it.
An outage never puts your funds at risk: they are secured by your 12-word phrase on the Bitcoin network, not stored on those servers or on Parahub.
- 1Don't act on a zero balance during an outage — it only means the wallet cannot reach the network, not that funds are gone.
- 2Check that your 12-word recovery phrase is written down and safe. It alone controls the funds, on any device.
- 3Try again a few hours later — balance and history come back by themselves once the network recovers. Nothing needs to be reset or reinstalled.
Even if the network operators shut down permanently, your funds remain recoverable directly on the Bitcoin blockchain with your 12 words, without anyone's cooperation, using the open-source Spark exit tool. It is a technical, command-line procedure — never share your 12 words with anyone offering to help: whoever knows them controls the funds. Spark unilateral exit guide
