End-to-end encrypted messaging, one-click video calls, and notifications that reach you in your language. All built on the open Matrix protocol with a homeserver run by Parahub — your address username@parahub.io is also your Matrix ID.

End-to-end encrypted
Messages are encrypted on your device and readable only by participants. Parahub runs the server but cannot read your chats.
Pick your client
Three chat apps to choose from — full-featured desktop, lightweight, or mobile-first. One click and you're in with your Parahub account; no separate registration.
Video calls
Call any user straight from their profile, or open a named room for a group call. Incoming calls ring in the browser in real time.
Notifications
Contract updates, debts, verifications, incoming calls and more — as live toasts while you browse and as push notifications when the browser is closed, in your language.

An open protocol, not a walled garden

Matrix is an open federated standard: your conversations aren't locked into Parahub, and standard Matrix apps can connect to the same account.

Use a native Matrix app

Prefer a dedicated app on your phone or computer? Any Matrix client that signs in through the browser works — for example Element X or SchildiChat Next on mobile, or Element on desktop.

  1. Install the app and choose to enter a server address manually.
  2. Enter parahub.io as the server.
  3. Your browser opens — sign in with your usual Parahub email and password and confirm. That's it.

Adding your phone as a second device?

On a computer where you're already signed in, open Element (parahub.io/element), go to Settings → Sessions → "Link new device" and show the QR code, then choose "Sign in with QR code" in the phone app and scan the screen. The devices verify each other automatically, so your encrypted history stays readable.
