Support a profile every month with a fixed Lightning amount — a non-custodial, reminder-driven way to back the people and projects you value. The platform never holds funds and takes no cut: every payment goes straight from you to the recipient.
How it works
- 1On any profile, tap “Support monthly”, choose an amount, and pay from your Lightning wallet. You become a supporter and the recipient is notified.
- 2A few days before your month ends, you get a reminder. One tap re-pays and extends your support — there is never an automatic charge.
- 3Don't want to continue? Just don't renew, or cancel anytime. Your access stays until the period you already paid for ends.
Subscribers-only content
Creators can mark blog posts as subscribers-only. The title, preview, and cover stay public as a teaser; the full text unlocks for active supporters. Everyone else sees a “Support to unlock” prompt.
Why monthly, not automatic
Lightning is push, not pull — a non-custodial wallet can never be charged silently. The trade-off is deliberate: no auto-billing means no chargebacks, the recipient keeps ~100%, and your keys never leave your device.
Any amount unlocks
Support is a flat monthly amount you choose — there are no tiers or per-tier perks. Any active support unlocks the creator's subscribers-only content.
Cancel anytime
Cancelling means “don't renew”, not “revoke now”. You keep access through the period you've already paid for, and the recipient sees their supporter count and your renewal date.
No escrow, no platform cut
The platform never holds or routes your money and takes no fee. Each month's payment is a direct Lightning transfer from supporter to recipient — the same no-escrow principle behind every payment on Parahub.
